My skin journey 5 steps

The Jean baré Skincare product range has a five-step journey that has been designed to focus on rejuvenating dull, dry and tired skin by combating dryness with antioxidant-rich emollient products for the affected areas while providing the needed agents to promote sebaceous oil production and restore the skin's protective barrier mantle.

Acne skin

Acne is a skin condition in which sebaceous (oil-producing) glandular activity results in unwelcome skin inflammations and blemishes such as comedones (blackheads and whiteheads), papules, pustules (pimples), and creating large pores. Left untreated, acne can be a painful skin condition and sometimes has emotional scarring.

Dry skin

Dry skin is the classification of a skin type that doesn't produce enough essential oil. Dry skin tends to be more sensitive because the protective acid mantle and barrier function aren't as healthy as normal skin, because of the lack of needed lipids (good oils). The texture of dry skin can be rough and feel very tight and may appear to be thin. Dry skin is different, than dehydrated skin. Dehydrated skin lacks water. Dry skin lacks oil.

Oily skin

Oily skin is a skin type in which the skin has excess and unneeded sebum (oil) production. This natural oil is secreted from the skin follicles and under normal conditions, helps to protect the skin from environmental damage and aging. When the production of this natural oil is more than what we need, the excess can lead to shiny skin, blackhead formation.

Anti-aging skin

A normal aging skin has certain consistent characteristics. These characteristics become more prominent as we age. Aging skin presents itself in the form of fine lines, decreased elasticity and thinning of the skin.

Sensitive skin

A sensitive skin is a skin condition that's becoming much more common. We are constantly bombarded by internal stress in addition to such external environmental elements like sun exposure, air pollution and other unhealthy skin-damaging factors.

Pregnancy skin

During pregnancy, your skin, as well as your body, goes through some dramatic changes. Skin-related issues, which stem from pregnancy and the resulting changes in hormones, can include acne, patches of dark pigmentation known as melasma, sensitivities, dryness and excessive oiliness.

Pigmentation skin

Pigmentation is a skin condition where an over production of melanin (pigment) presents itself as dark spots, age spots, freckles and/or a dark “mask” on the surface of the skin. The condition becomes really visible with sun exposure.
